Situated in the corner of the second floor of the Manor, this fresh guest room is inspired by the classic colonial style of the iconic Raffles Hotel in Singapore. Being part of the original Manor, this room has an exposed 13th Century roof truss which was originally the roof of the Banqueting Hall below it and is a lovely reminder of the building’s history.
This pretty twin room is dressed in a fresh blue and white bamboo trellis design wallpaper by the all American brand Thibaut, evoking a feeling reminiscent of the Far East and a stay at the beautiful Raffles Hotel, especially when set against the antique mahogany Four Poster beds, dressed in the finest Yves Delorme bedlinen. The Georgian dormer windows have pretty portiere curtains in beautiful floral and gingham fabrics to soften the feel and add a touch of warmth.
The spacious room enjoys a wonderful free-standing oval bathtub large enough for two and a private en-suite wet-room and WC tucked under the eaves.
With its Westerly views, the sea can be seen across the terraced lawns and the fields beyond.
