Tucked away in the eaves of the second floor of the Manor is the prettiest of guest rooms. A charming toile de jouy wallpaper from Manual Canovas dresses the walls and ceiling of this room to create a cosy and comfortable retreat. The design depicts scenes from the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris in the 18th Century but the mood has been brought up to date with the contemporary colours, without losing any of the charm.
The beautiful king-size bed is dressed in the finest Yves Delorme bedlinen and the Georgian dormer windows which overlook the historic Church of St Giles and the rolling fields afar, have pretty portiere curtains in matching toile de jouy fabric lined with a sweet gingham check.
The spacious bathroom is perfect to pamper yourself in luxury. The large free-standing stone bathtub, with its elegant carving, has ample room for two to soak away the day and the large perfectly lit vanity mirror makes getting glammed up a breeze.
