Built around 1812, the Bakery Room with it’s original features can be found nestled next to the Cheese House Cottage overlooking the rose garden and is now a gorgeous little hideaway for two.

Stay in the Bakery Room and enjoy it’s modern amenities such as the walk-in raindrop shower and en-suite screened behind a super stylish bespoke crittall partition – whilst the rest of the accommodation is a perfect blend of original features such as the exposed brickwork, gorgeous vaulted ceiling and a small recess which use to house the original bread oven, mixed with luxurious furniture & furnishings for the most comfortable stay.

This guest room offers a comfortable king size bed, tea & coffee making facilities with a small fridge, a dedicated desk area and a beautifully upholstered 2 seater sofa positioned perfectly to enjoy the courtyard garden.


This luxurious, ground-floor room overlooks the rose garden in the inner courtyard of the estate and is a gorgeous cosy hideaway for two. Overflowing with character, original 18th century features include the striking walls and vaulted ceiling that are completely made up of exposed stone. It’s a true escape. Outside you can enjoy romantic strolls in the estate’s gardens and admire views of Glamorgan’s Heritage Coast. Meanwhile, days out can be enjoyed at local beaches, the Wales Coastal Path and the historic town of Cowbridge.

There is a key safe where you can access the key to the property for a self-check-in.

The estate grounds and gardens are communal and are available to guests of the manor house and all the apartments and cottages at the site.


Guests have free access to the EV charger.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.

Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £300 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.

Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you’re legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.
